The Little Black Flannel Initiative is based on a Junior League event of a similar name that highlights the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources. Members wear the same flannel for five consecutive days, May 4 – 8 2026, to demonstrate these restrictions and spark conversations and awareness about food insecurity in the Idaho.
