Little Black Flannel Initiative

The Little Black Flannel Initiative is based on a Junior League event of a similar name that highlights the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources.

During Idaho Gives, May 4 -7, 2026, members wear the same flannel for four consecutive days to demonstrate these restrictions and spark conversations and awareness about food insecurity in the Idaho.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Join the Junior League of Boise as a matching sponsor for Little Black Flannel during Idaho Gives, May 4-7, 2026.

This four-day peer-to-peer fundraising campaign engages our membership to raise critical funds for our mission. When you sponsor Little Black Flannel, you amplify community impact while gaining brand visibility among women leaders and community advocates.

More importantly, you invest in JLB’s workforce development mission; training the professional women who go on to lead businesses, nonprofit boards, and civic organizations across the Treasure Valley.

Corporate matching opportunities range from full campaign matches, day-specific partnerships, and custom partnerships tailored to your business or personal goals.
